1. nowadays雖然以days結(jié)尾，但它是作副詞，而不是名詞，所以不要在其前誤加in, at等介詞。如：

正：Nowadays we think nothing of space travel.

2. 用作副詞，表示“現(xiàn)在”“如今”，由于詞義的原因，通常與一般現(xiàn)在時連用，且多用于句首或句末作狀語。如：

Nowadays children are much healthier. 現(xiàn)今孩子們比過去健康。

It’s difficult to get into a university nowadays. 如今進大學讀書是難事。

從含義上看，該詞往往具有與過去相比較的意味。

3. 有時放在名詞后作定語。比較：

Nowadays children have more pocket money. 如今，孩子們有更多的零用錢。

Children nowadays have more pocket money. 現(xiàn)在的孩子有更多的零用錢。
