激活大腦
1. 確定一個(gè)主題。確定了“If I had studied harder”作為題目后,我們就要展開(kāi)合情合理的想象,如“就會(huì)多得幾分,就會(huì)考試及格,就會(huì)使老師高興”等。
2. 理清寫(xiě)作思路!葪l件后結(jié)果。第一句是虛擬條件句“If I had studied harder”,緊接著我們就要按照這個(gè)思路寫(xiě)出其對(duì)應(yīng)的表示虛擬結(jié)果的主句,即要用到“I would have ...(與過(guò)去事實(shí)不相符合)”的句型。特別要注意的是,表結(jié)果的內(nèi)容要慢慢過(guò)渡,且相互之間有一定的邏輯關(guān)系。
※先結(jié)果后條件。還有另外一種結(jié)構(gòu),即:先把結(jié)果說(shuō)出來(lái),再一一列舉各種合理的條件。如:
I would have passed the maths exam,
if I hadn’t had the point got lost,
if I’d had just one more minute,
if I had studied harder,
if I had accepted the suggestions of Joe,
if I had asked my teachers for help when not
understanding,
if I hadn’t stayed up so late the night before,
if I hadn’t taken it for granted
if ...
3. 運(yùn)用適當(dāng)時(shí)態(tài)。不論是以上的哪種結(jié)構(gòu),都不能把時(shí)態(tài)弄錯(cuò)。與過(guò)去事實(shí)不相符合,從句用過(guò)去完成時(shí),主句用would / could / should / might have done;與現(xiàn)在事實(shí)不相符合,從句用一般過(guò)去時(shí)(be通常用were),主句用would / could / should / might do;與將來(lái)事實(shí)不相符合,從句用should do或者were to do或者一般過(guò)去時(shí),主句用would / could / should / might do。
