這里還要與大家分享兩個(gè)單詞：bully 和 coward。這兩個(gè)單詞都來(lái)自牛，一個(gè)來(lái)自公牛bull，一個(gè)來(lái)來(lái)自母牛cow. bully 做動(dòng)詞指“持強(qiáng)凌弱”、“欺負(fù)他人”的意思，作名詞表示這樣的人，很顯然帶有貶義。而coward表示“懦夫”、“膽小鬼”，派生詞有cowardly 形容詞“膽小的”；cowardice 名詞“懦弱”�？磥�(lái)公牛bull 和母牛 cow 都有一定的貶義，所以牛年翻譯為the year of the ox 就顯得比較妥當(dāng)了。
